 1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience? The information that media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience is age, gender, social class and race. 2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics? Because media companies use audience profiling to create a more detailed picture of the audience 3) What are the seven different Psychographic groups?  The seven different Psychographic groups are the Aspirer, Explorer, Reformer, Mainstreamer, Succeeder, Struggler, Resigned. 4) Write a brief summary of what each Psychographic group is seeking or motivated by. Camera movement and editing

 1) In  Minority Report , Spielberg uses various camera movements to heighten tension and immerse the audience: Tracking Shot : The camera follows John Anderton closely during action sequences, creating a sense of urgency and making the audience feel like they are running with him. This increases immersion and heightens suspense. Handheld Camera : Used during moments of panic, the shaky camera mirrors Anderton’s instability. This movement creates tension and anxiety, putting the audience on edge as they share the character’s emotional turmoil. High-Angle Shot : These shots look down on Anderton during vulnerable moments, emphasising his powerlessness. This makes the audience sympathise with his struggle, reinforcing the intensity of his situation. Keep up the good work!     EBI : The key aspect to work on if we want to aim for the top grades is depth and detail in our written work – for example, the ‘connotation’ and ‘analysis’ paragraphs for denotation and connotation. Aim for an extended paragraph analysing a range of meanings that are created in the text.   The other area I would suggest working on is keeping an eye on your written English. Things like capital letters are important in written communication and getting them perfect in your blog is a great preparation for the later exams. Camerawork blog task

 1)  3 camera shots: The medium close up at 1.03 shows that the character is very serious and tense while talking about finding Doctor Who to the others characters on the computer. The medium shot shows your shoulders and face. It might convey to the audience that the situation is tense and serious. The close up shot at 1.11 shows that the situation is even more dire and overwhelming. It also shows that if they don't find doctor who then the earth is in serious danger. The close up shot shows your face and sometimes the tip of your shoulder. The medium close up at 2.57 shows that the character has to work fast in the tense situation in order to help find doctor who and if he isn't found then the world is doomed.  Denotation A boy who is wearing a dark blue and black T-shirt. He is sitting in a chair and there is also a house behind him. There is white and blue texts. The advert is from WaterAid because of the name on the top left corner. Connotation The boy seems sad maybe because he does not have water because the adverts name is the WaterAid. The white writing is suggesting that people need to help with anything they can so that there are less deaths. In the background you can see that the boy is living in a undeveloped area and that the boy is poor because of the dark pale blue looking T-shirt. Advert of my choice

 Denotation There is some texts and different colours. There is a rainbow and the background appears to be a sky and also has clouds. Connotation The different colours suggest that there are more than one variety of flavours to choose from and the white phrase suggest that you should try all of them. The background is a sky and some clouds suggesting the this is a exciting product that the audience should taste. Analysis This advert helps the audience to understand that the colours reflect the skittles themself and that the brand does not take it self too seriously. This adds the positive and happy atmosphere that makes the audience try out there new skittles flavours. The white texts suggests that if you eat this then you can reach your own place of mind and go beyond rainbows and reach high places.
