Preliminary exercise learner response
1) Type up your teacher's feedback in full. If you've received your feedback via email, you can simply cut and paste it from the email into your blog.

Your alliterative masthead works in emphasising the overall tone of the magazine as one of realism and seriousness. The cover lines that you have written seem to be consistent with the gossip and celebrity news direction that you have taken with the bottom line of your cover. Using a combination of your cover image with yourself looking off into the distance and the well known London skyline gives the impression of looking into the future of seeking out success which I suspect is the goal. Your article within the 1 page spread meets the intended tone with a clear 'influencer' as your focus and their overall message of coming back from a crisis evident throughout.
NEXT STEPS
I would consider the positioning of your cover lines as they currently appear to be randomly placed rather than following a pattern.
The font chosen for your heading doesn't scream Masthead to me, I would go for a more traditional Sans-serif font that is bolder and therefore will stand out better against a busy background image.
With your two setting images, I would consider how suitable it is to have both the skyline and the garden. I think that the skyline fits your overall tone and goal for this magazine with the garden being more of a distraction. Perhaps an empty background behind the image of you, which would allow for greater visibility of the writing as well as making your real cover image larger/more prominent.
Consider your title at the top of your article 'An influencer' would be more grammatically correct.
In the real coursework I believe that you could take some better side images to go along the edge of the article rather than the current stock images present as I actually believe they detract from the overall aesthetic that is currently in place.
2) Using a combination of your own reflection on the preliminary exercise and the feedback you were given, write two WWW bullet points (What Went Well) and two Next Step bullet points for your preliminary exercise.

3) What have you learned from the preliminary exercise that will help you in the actual coursework project? List three things you have learned or will do differently as a result of this exercise. You may want to comment on organisation, actors, filming, editing or something else entirely but be specific.
